We have a vegetable garden in back, and grow vegetables and xeriscape perennial flowers in front. This year we're trying garlic, collards, beans, snow peas, summer and winter squash, turnips, asparagus, tomatoes, and eggplants for vegetables. We have gradually expanded it and this year are doubling the size. We also recently got rid of our front lawn and this year are adding xeriscape plants, as well as some vegetables.
What is your favorite part about gardening?:
Having food that you grew, plus being outside.
