We use many areas of the yard for our garden. The front yard has many flowers and the larger bush type veggies like squash. The back yard has a small orchard of 2 cherry trees and 4 apple trees. A large 500 sqft fenced off veggie garden as well as other veggies planted in selected areas of the back yard.

greenhouse This autumn, I'll have just over 800 sq ft under "glass". I'm using a SHCS and hope to report on how well it works. Other Colorado residences have had excellent results! We plan to have tomatoes, lettuce, arugula, peppers, cucumbers and other edibles. I would like to add some chickens and fur rabbits in the near future.
