We have four 4'x8' raised beds for vegetables. The sunniest part of the yard happens to be a concrete patio, and we built the raised beds on top of it. We are trying out a method called square foot gardening that helps optimize your garden space. We are also growing herbs and berries in containers. This is our first year planting a garden and we're excited to see how it turns out!
